This project was called Wikibook; essentially, the prompt was to make a book based on a Wikipedia article. I choose the article about the Titanic and its sinking for my project. This project was a perfect exercise to practice typographic layouts and systems as a whole. Something design decisions to note was in the heading of the title chapter pages the text slowly rotates and sinks beneath the text basically replicating the sinking of the Titanic through typographic layout.

The subway system project was about finding ways to transfer large quantities of text from one form to another. We had to figure out a way to display the abundance of information that is the new york subway. It was an interesting project because we were allowed creative freedom in the ways in which we displayed this data.

The chapbook was my entry into typography. It was less about graphical placements and more so about professional-type settings. This project required the use of grids and the use of parent pages. The use of parent pages introduced me to design and its capabilities.
